Kids church runs during morning service in the activities room for grades Prep through to Six.
We provide some exciting age-specific teaching and activities led by a group of enthusiastic leaders and helpers. It is a lot of fun and a great way to learn about Jesus. We are not shy about telling kids the gospel and love nothing more than watching our kids progress in their walk with him and enter into the greater church community.
Of course, children are also welcome to quietly stay in the service and there is colouring and activity sheets provided if needed.
Here at Cairns Baptist we believe that children are an important part of our church and believe that they should be involved in our corporate worship. On the first Sunday of every month we have a family service where families are able to sit together to worship. Our family service has a kids talk, message and we also share in Communion.
Kids church is a Safe Ministry space where all the leaders undergo a Safe Ministry Check
Volunteer & Leader course. All children will need to signed in and out of the program by parent or carer.
