In fulfillment of intentionally following Jesus; our calling as church is to evagelise the lost (Luke 19:10) and establish new believers. It creates great encouragement to all its existing members as we follow Jesus. CBC can equip new believers through discipleship and together we Grow, Worship and Exalt our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. (Psalm 99:5)
Our main methods of outreach currently, is Street Evangelism; including handing out tracts and doing letterbox dropsand Friendship Evangelism; a more personal approach to sharing the Gospel. We invite you to join with us on one of our many events, usally on Wednesday afternoons on the Esplanade. Occasionly we do weekend events too.
Our future outreach plans for 2021 may include larger events God Willing, such as “Cairns Crusade in the Park”, and/or Concert in Munro Martin Park (made up of local, national and international Christian artists). We seek the Lords favour as we consider these events.
